Vote NO today to RBA’s poor pay offer!

Voting for the RBA’s proposed Enterprise Agreement is now open. Our union is advising all RBA employees to vote NO to the proposed Agreement and send management a strong message that we deserve better.

Voting is completely anonymous. The ballot will close at 5pm on Thursday 2 July.

Please share this important information with your colleagues and forward this email.

The proposed Agreement includes:

  • a pay offer that falls well short of inflation and will see our wages fall behind other comparable employers.
  • no increase to paid parental leave.
  • no work from home protections.

How do I vote?

By now, you should have received an email from Vero Voting with your voting instructions, including a link to vote securely online. If not, please call Vero Voting on 1300 702 898, or contact the FSU for further assistance.

All votes submitted through Vero Voting’s confidential ballot process are guaranteed to be anonymous.

What happens if we vote no?

If a majority of RBA employees vote no, then negotiations will resume where members can seek an improvement to the pay offer by the usual salary increase period in September.

If further negotiations conclude after September, there are various options available to ensure RBA employees are fully compensated for any gaps between the September pay period and the conclusion of negotiations. Remember, when RBA employees rejected the last proposed Agreement back in 2023, management offered a monetary sum to compensate employees.

Crucially, the more people who vote no, the more RBA management is likely to move in future negotiations.

It’s critical that we don’t lock ourselves into three years of below-inflation pay rises. So let’s stand together, demand respect, and vote NO to the RBA’s proposed agreement!
