What’s in the proposed AustralianSuper Agreement?

Good news! We have reached an in-principle agreement with AustralianSuper for our new Enterprise Agreement. This means you will soon be asked to vote on whether you accept the proposed offer.

At recent meetings, FSU members overwhelmingly endorsed the proposed Agreement, which includes improvements to our pay and working conditions that union members have successfully negotiated.

The access period is expected to commence from Tuesday 1 September – this is your opportunity to learn about the changes in the proposed Agreement and decide how you wish to vote in the upcoming ballot, which will commence Monday 7 September.

Among other things, the proposed Agreement includes:

  • 12% pay increase over the life of the Agreement, with back pay to 1 July 2026.
  • One-off payment for A1 - A6 colleagues - either a $1000 employer superannuation contribution, or an $885 gross lump sum payment plus $115 super contribution.
  • Introduction of five days of reproductive health care leave.
  • Superannuation on all paid overtime.
  • Improved 'blended work' clause to ensure employees' needs are genuinely considered.
  • Commitments around AI and data security.
  • Access to long service leave at half pay.
  • Commitment to undertake a review of classifications and pay structures via the Joint Consultative Group during the life of the Agreement.
