Zurich proposed Agreement voted up
You will have heard by now that the proposed Zurich Enterprise Agreement (EA)…
Zurich has stopped listening.
They plan to put their substandard proposed Enterprise Agreement (EA) to an all-staff ballot on 7 December 2023, despite the fact that the pay offer is way below industry standards and we haven’t yet come to an agreement.
This shows a clear lack of care for our concerns about the cost of living, and raises serious questions about Zurich’s commitment to collaborative decision-making.
Pledge to vote NO when the ballot for the Agreement opens on 7 December.
Zurich’s proposed 9.5% pay increase (4% in year one, 3% in year two and 2.5% in year three) will leave all of us worse off over the next three years and see us fall behind our industry colleagues. It also unfairly applies to only a minority of us covered by the EA (those earning under $90,000). And for the rest of us, our pay remains discretionary and not guaranteed.
Zurich’s actions show a lack of appreciation for the hard work and dedication of staff.
Pledge to vote NO when the ballot for this inferior Agreement opens on 7 December, so we can bring Zurich back to the bargaining table for a fairer pay offer.
Forward this update onto your colleagues and ask them to pledge to vote no too. And if you’re not yet an FSU member – it is crucial that you join now so Zurich hears our concerns loud and clear.
