NAB Knox site closure – FSU know your rights sessions

NAB has announced the Knox site will be closed and colleagues relocated to 700 Bourke Street.

This proposal affects approximately 270 colleagues, with the majority of relocations scheduled to commence from 31 August 2026.

Paid time consultation sessions

The FSU is holding consultation sessions for all employees impacted by these changes. These sessions will help you understand your rights, share what support or options you need from NAB, and discuss next steps.

NAB has agreed to release colleagues from their ordinary duties to attend one of these sessions during paid time.

To attend, simply let your Team Leader know which session times you prefer and they will work with you to roster you off.

  • Where: The Long Room, ground floor, 122 Lewis Street
  • Thursday 27 November: 9.30am, 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 3pm and 4pm
  • Friday 28 November: 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm

If you know a colleague who may be affected, please share this email and encourage them to attend. If you’re unable to attend a session, you can still have your say — just reply to this email and we’ll be in touch.

Your rights during consultation

Under our NAB Enterprise Agreement, you have important rights during periods of major workplace change. Management is required to:

  • consult with you about the proposed changes
  • discuss the potential impacts the changes may have on you
  • genuinely consider any feedback or proposed alternatives you raise
  • implement measures to prevent or reduce negative impacts where possible.

Consultation closes Friday 5 December, so it’s important we act quickly to ensure all questions, concerns and feedback are captured.

If you have any questions or feedback ahead of the sessions, please email [email protected].
