‘Speak the truth’ survey – creating safer, fairer, culturally inclusive workplaces

Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander finance workers across Australia are invited to share their workplace experiences as part of the next Gari Yala ‘speak the truth’ research project

This is a world-first, Indigenous-led study, designed by and for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. It aims to create safer, fairer, and more culturally inclusive workplaces, improve access to quality jobs and meaningful careers, and ensure First Nations people can fully participate in the Australian workforce at every level.

Take survey now

The survey will remain open until 14 June. All participants will enter a competition to win one of 10 $100 Jarin Street gift vouchers. Jarin Street is a 100% Indigenous-owned business.

This survey will:

  • benchmark progress since the first survey and assess what has changed.
  • map and track workplace inclusion for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees.
  • create a deeper understanding of the implications of cultural responsibilities in the workplace and how they impact career progression and wellbeing.
